Team Leader
Allan Muhereza Murangira is a Pan-African lawyer and advocate for systemic reform in fiscal governance and the global financial architecture. He is committed to transforming structures that perpetuate inequality and underdevelopment across Africa and beyond.
As Team Lead at the Youth for Tax Justice Network, he centers youth voices in economic policymaking spaces. His work advances equity, accountability, and inclusive development through advocacy and movement-building, focusing on fair taxation, debt justice, structural reform, coalition-building, and leveraging law, policy, and civic engagement to promote justice and sustainable development across regional and global policy arenas strategically.

Programs Manager
Jon Paul Kafuko is Pan-African lawyer, specializing in youth-led advocacy for fiscal justice. As Programmes Manager at Youth for Tax Justice Network, he oversees the design, and execution of initiatives that empower young people to engage in policy processes, advance equitable taxation, and promote accountable governance across Africa.
Jon Paul brings expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and results-based monitoring to ensure that programmes are impactful, sustainable, and evidence-driven. He is committed to creating spaces for youth agency, fostering cross-sector partnerships, and translating complex fiscal and policy issues into actionable strategies for social and economic transformation.

Advocacy and Policy Officer
Lurit Yugusuk Lurit Yugusuk is a policy and development communications specialist with extensive experience translating complex social, economic and governance issues into actionable insights. She focuses on strengthening evidence-based advocacy, shaping public discourse and supporting strategic communication initiatives that advance equitable policy solutions across Africa.
In her work, Lurit combines research, policy analysis, and multimedia storytelling to design communication strategies that amplify stakeholder voices, foster public participation, and promote accountability. She has led impactful campaigns, knowledge translation initiatives and policy engagement projects that influence governance, inform decision-making and strengthen movements for sustainable social and economic transformation.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Dorine Aceng is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) professional with three years of experience supporting youth-centered governance, accountability, and development initiatives. She serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Youth for Tax Justice Network (YTJN), leading results-based monitoring, data management, learning, and reporting to strengthen evidence-informed advocacy and program effectiveness.
Dorine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Kyambogo University and is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation at the Uganda Management Institute (UMI), with expertise in MEAL systems strengthening, data quality assurance, analysis, and institutional learning.

Programs Officer
Asiimwe Mugumya is a lawyer by training, an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and Commissioner for Oaths based in Kampala. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and is admitted to the Ugandan Bar.
As a passionate tax justice advocate, he combines legal expertise with advocacy to challenge regressive taxation, illicit financial flows, and harmful resource exploitation. He actively engages in policy dialogue, community mobilization, research, and capacity building to advance transparency and progressive economic reform in Africa and beyond.

Communications and Media Officer
Ssemujju Lewis Edward is a communications and media professional with expertise in creating engaging digital stories and leading impactful campaigns that mobilize youth and amplify their voices. He is dedicated to using communication to challenge unfair tax systems, promote equitable resource sharing, and support sustainable development.
With experience in youth engagement and advocacy, Lewis effectively translates complex tax issues, inspires action, and builds momentum for the tax justice movement. He has successfully designed and implemented multimedia campaigns that have reached thousands of young people across Africa, strengthening awareness and participation in tax justice initiatives.

Regional Cordinator - Southern Africa
Kelebogile Lekone is a dedicated Pan-African advocate who serves as a National Coordinator for Youth for Tax Justice Network in Botswana, where she champions equitable taxation and fiscal policies to empower African youth and communities. A passionate tax enthusiast, she drives research and advocacy for progressive reforms that combat inequality and promote economic justice across the continent.
Kelebogile provides incisive analysis on governance, public policy, and national development, supporting alternative strategies for social justice and accountability. With a focus on human rights, youth empowerment, and community mobilization, she bridges grassroots activism with high-level policy discourse. Kelebogile is also a seasoned Public Relations advisor.
